PUBLIC RELATIONS

Cordings is co-owned by the musician Eric Clapton and its managing director Noll Uloth. When the pair wanted to re-brand its identity back to its core values they sought my help

Who better to understand how journalists think than another journalist? It is on this basis that I have advised some top British companies and brands on how to generate PR. I have always been able to generate press everywhere I have worked and specialise in high end industries. Those I have helped include:

Cordings of Piccadilly

Cording's Co-owners Eric Clapton and Noll Uloth were looking to raise the profile of Cordings, the clothing brand. Daily Telegraph, Vogue, BBC, Daily Mail

Penelope Chilvers

Think of Kate Middleton in her country wear, sporting a pair of beautiful tasselled leather boots and then you have the picture of Penelope Chilvers footwear. When Penny was still using her drawing room floor as an office I helped her come under the attention of Vogue, Tatler, The Times, The Daily Mail and more

Ashridge Nurseries

This Somerset-based online nursery received its first ever press mention in The Daily Telegraph thanks to an article I prepared for them.

Brittanicus Stone, London

Britain has its own seam of stone that is akin to marble. Brittanicus Stone helps supply and promote it. I worked with the company to give it a higher profile amongst journalists and introduced them to the likes of House & Gardens, The Evening Standard, Homes & Gardens, Country Living and other interior titles. I also launched The Slow Furniture Movement at their store.

North Cadbury Court, North Cadbury Somerset

The Court is a fantastic private house for hire and wedding venue. I've offered informal advise to the owners as a friend but when one of them decided to commemorate the family's links with Scotland in the Snooker Room I stepped secured an article in Country Life and The Field. I also provided them with an extensive press list.
